Health or behavioral changes: 

It is the responsibility of the owner to inform the groomer of any changes to the health of the dog, including any changes in behaviour or any thing that may require adaptations in the salon such as being lifted in and out of the bath. 

Flea Policy:

All dogs brought to Trophy Pups must be up to date with all vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. If any fleas are found on the dog, they will need to be collected immediately and not return until flea treatment is complete. I would also require a £20 fee as a deep clean of the salon will be required. Deposit will not be returned.

Cancellation Policy:

Appointments must be amended or canceled at least 48 prior to the appointment. Any appointment cancelled under 48 hours before the groom will be subject to a charge of 50% of the groom. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will require full payment before rebooking. 

Late Policy:

Trophy Pups have the right to cancel your appointment with a full charge of the groom if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment. We work back-to-back therefore lateness over 15 minutes would have to be rearranged. Late collection fees also apply.

Pet Safety:

Due to the intimate nature of the grooming process, a pets tolerance level for stress, strangers or handling, some dogs may become anxious or reactive during the grooming process.

If we determine that continuing the grooming service would present a threat to your dog’s emotional or physical health, and/or the safety of the groomer, we will discontinue the service, contact you immediately for collection of the dog.

Matte Policy:

An extra matteing charge will be added if the dog’s coat has multiple mattes as this will take extra time for the groomer, you will be notified if this is necessary. This will be confirmed to you on the day of your appointment if required.

If the dog’s coat is severely matted, we may determine that the only humane thing to do is to shave it off, this will be a short clip, removing all the matting. It is unfeasible to de-mat/brush out the coat as this would cause excessive pain and suffering.

Pregnant Dogs:

At Trophy Pups we do not groom pregnant dogs, as the risk of injury to the dog and the Puppies is too high. If the groomer is not made aware that the dog is pregnant, and any injuries or health complications that occur during the appointment will not be the responsibility of the groomer.

GDPR:

At Trophy Pups it is of upmost importance that your information is collected and stored with respect and privacy. Any personal information collected is input into a secure password protected online system, and any paper work is stored within a locked cabinet. Your personal information will not be shared or sold. Photographs of your dog may be taken for promotional purposes, to be shared on the Trophy pups websites, instagram, facebook and TikTok pages. If this is something you would prefer us not to do, please make us aware and we will accommodate this.
